Having a growth mindset is rewarding for you as it helps you achieve your goals and at the same time, helps you keep a peaceful mind.
Here is some ideas to help with our growth and improvement,
Stop caring about others’ opinions about you. Instead, do what you like and focus on what you really want from yourself, It’s impossible to completely get rid of negative people,
completely, from your life. The best thing you can do is ignore them, If you want others to love and help you, you should love and help them at first.
Every individual is completely different. We have our own set of limitations, shortcomings and talents. Hence, never sweat yourself out comparing yourself with others.
Our emotions can either be a hindrance to our growth or they can be a great motivator if used correctly
Trick your mind into doing important things. Decide to reward yourself with something you like.
Always value time over money. Time is the most valuable asset.
Don’t live for yourself. Don’t live for others either. Instead, live for a purpose. A purpose is so big that it makes you forget all of your petty issues. Nobody can find your purpose for you but only you can. Have a purpose that you truly care about. or your WHY.
Read quality material. Read biographies and thoughts of great people, not to gain knowledge, but to truly understand their perspective and their way of thinking. When you read about great people, you will know their thought process,
Real growth comes with hard work and effort. Being very comfortable doesn’t help us grow, it makes us stanch. Recognize your comfort zone and evaluate if you stay there most of the time. Shuffle your routine a bit and do something different.
Start your day with a to-do list, which will keep you organized, focused and with things to do. You will see that the days when you don’t make lists, will be much less productive compared to those when you do them.
Write about your personal growth and comment on what you have been learning to help others. Helping others to improve themselves will motivate you to keep improving yourself.
Focus on the process instead of results. When your attention is inclined towards the process, you’ll enjoy it. Eventually, the process will become a part of your routine.
All of your failures are a goldmine of lessons. Try to extract them and use them for your next attempt.
Whenever someone criticizes you, take it in a positive sense. Reflect on their words and try to find the truth in them.
